Our consultants have worked in television news and current affairs and produce materials to the highest broadcast quality standards. We know what newsrooms demand and we deliver.
Elizabeth Flaherty, director, has a Bachelor of Arts in Television and Sound Production from Charles Sturt University and has worked in television news and current affairs production roles including news vision editor and traffic coordination. Elizabeth was also a journalist for ABC Radio and Rural Press. The combination of this experience working in the media and a tertiary degree ensures Elizabeth is able to produce a video from concept to finished product.
Sheryl Taylor, media specialist, has spent more than 25 years in news media. She was an esteemed Channel 9 reporter for more than 20 years, as newsreader, state political reporter and health reporter. Her experience in television production is exceptional. Sheryl has also worked for ABC current affairs radio and wrote for the Bulletin.
Sheryl Taylor, Elizabeth Flaherty and Catharina Boer have all directed vision crews and have initiated and managed several entire television series including: RPA Channel 9, Saving Babies Channel 10, From Here to Maternity Foxtel and The Little Things Foxtel.
Hunter Valley Public Relations also prepares video news releases (VNR) to the required broadcast quality and standards demanded by the media. Most recently we produced a VNR for the Australian Generic Medicines Industry and secured television coverage with Channel 9 News, Sky News and Today Tonight. This demonstrates HVPR is able to produce video footage to the highest standards required by national television news providers.
We also produce corporate videos and videos to be web ready.
We regularly gather file footage for clients to use for VNR’s, for broadcast quality file footage for local television media, through to postings on YouTube.
We have filming protocols and obtain appropriate written consent forms throughout all of our production process.
